You and me both, only I've waited just a tiny bit longer.

To be fair, we did get a tiny bit of snow here... there's still a very light coating in some spots (mostly sleet, though). It's not a real snowfall by my standards. I was at least an inch before I call it a real snowfall.

Here's a perfect look.. First note.... many areas of CT changed to rain/sleet even though below freezing at 850mb on right image...


Now look at the left image which is 10,000 foot level. As the storm nears it's pushing the warmer air and that level has warmed above freezing there. You can see it well with the light green color 5-10C. Arrows showing the winds at 10,000 feet. Ugh!

South Jersey had no real chance except now as the colder air moves in there might be some backside precip.

It is snowing HARD in MA/NH/ME!

We (in Brooklyn) got an hour or two of snow, little sticking. Some sleet before that. Rain now. Early afternoon there was a layer of ice on windshields, hopefully it melted.

You should of stayed up in MA. Would of seen nice landscape. :-)

700mb & 850mb temps have gone below freezing over south NJ & Atlantic finally changed to snow. http://w1.weather.gov/data/obhistory/KACY
