There's some of that in cooler places, too.

lol. Friend of mine has been a cop in NYC for decades.. He says the heat kept him busy but unfortunately he had to deal with more goons and savages when it was hot. They all come out and do stupid shi_t. They stay inside more when its cold and don't disrupt the public as much

No human being "needs" it this hot. Wants and experience is another thing but we don't need it. (Yes, I know, we don't need 0F either. lol ) But cold weather is healthier and EASIER to just layer and keep warm.

Just came through here. Winds gusted to 25mph sideways rain. Temps dropped into the 70s. Lovely Summer storm. No thunder/lightning. 0.10" with this line, still raining lightly.

Danbury down to 72! They were mid 80s last hour I believe

I haven't seen this in a while.. Bridgeport coast with a Higher Max then BDL.. Just change state for others. It will sort it by max temps highest to lowest.

All truth. Maybe heat lovers tend to associate the heat with summer activities, or something like that. But as long as you're not physiologically intolerant of cold, it's more practical and easier to live with. It's easier to create heat than to take it away. That's just a simple natural principle. Warmth is more conducive to human settlement, agriculture, and whatnot, but as long as that's not an issue, cold is easier to deal with on a personal level than heat. Just layer up; pretty simple.
