4 short months ago this area looked like this...

I plan on grabbing comparison pics tomorrow. Have to remember the same spot I was in.

I saw a tree that still looked like that (minus the snow) a couple of weeks ago, I thought it was dead, but when I saw it yesterday it was fully leafed out. Strange.

I ruined myself this morning. Just a brutal walk from parking lot to this spot then I decided to head to the end of the pier which jogs all the way to the left you cant see here.

Now I have a migraine that no pill, food or drink can fix. Maybe a long nap but sometimes that doesn't work. Walking in the heat, humidity and sun took just 30 minutes to kill my day. Ugh. Trying not to rant now.

11am
Temp: 87°F (31C)
Dewpoint: 70°F (21C)
Feels like 93° (34C)

AND SERIOUSLY... I'M AT THE FRIGGIN BEACH... WHERE'S THE FRIGGIN WIND AROUND HERE??????

Go to a real beach... like on the Atlantic south of Long Island.

I sometimes get headaches from being out in the sun in the heat. Drinking lots of water helps me a lot, don't get dehydrated.

I get more headaches from cloudy, humid heat. Sunny weather makes me feel better.

Really? I get headaches just from the sheer intense sun down here. Cloudy weather is a relief usually, no squinting or stress on the frontal lobe.

lol. Not sure what a better or real beach has anything to do with wind but... Does Westport right next to the one I was at considered "real"? LOL

It's not like Long Island is blocking our wind. lol. It's a seasonal thing. Summers = little wind.

Here's Jones beach, a popular Long island beach that faces the Atlantic Ocean with nice waves.. I see 5mph as the wind forecast. WTF!? http://www.surf-forecast.com/breaks/Jones-Beach-State-Park

The no wind here I am truly beginning to realize what drives me insane about the Summers here. And I think I'm looking for over 10mph now since 8 mph is still just a light breeze

4 months ago on March 20th we had a 6-8" snowstorm here.

Here's a comparison pic from then & today July 20th.. Snow & Cold vs Sun & Hot. Give me the left 365 days a year.
