Turku's first ice-day: Nov 20th.

Vancouver's first freeze/air frost: Nov 12th
First ice-day: Dec 25th

Lillehammer's first ice-day: Last year was Nov 19th. My guess: Nov 5th

Tromsø's (20 m) first ice-day: Last year was Nov 22th. My guess: Nov 15th

Hmm. I might like to change my mind wrt Trondheim's first ice day. Don't think the autumn will be that cold. My guess now: Nov 25th

Like, "when will Turku hit its first freeze"? How many of you have even the faintest idea when it could be? Not many. Or when will Lexington go below a 10C high for the first time? Who would know, and how could anybody know?

So let's keep these kind of questions in this one, right?
Turku's first freeze: September 29th

Lexington's first high below 10 C: Sometime in the last week of October or first week of November.

Hopefully this year I don't have to wait until ****ing January to see a low below even 18 C

When will Miami see it's first low below 20 C? I say October 20th.

Melbourne first 30C: Sep 20th
Melbourne first 35C: Dec 10th
Perth first 30C day: Oct 2th.
Sydney first 30C day: Sep 18th

Guess these four:

A) First overnight freeze /air frost in Trondheim (recorded at the airport, Værnes)?
Last year was very late, Oct 28th.
My guess: Oct 8th

B) First ice-day (sub 0C high) in Trondheim (Værnes)?
Last year did not happen untill Nov 21th.
My guess: Nov 2th.

You probably have no clue about these two:
C) First ice-day in Lillehammer? Only one station there, 240 m asl.
D) First ice-day in Tromsø: (station: Tromsø-Holt 20 m asl)

First freeze for Trondheim I would say October 13th

First ice day: November 9th

First ice day in Lillehammer: I would say October 24th

First ice day in Tromso: October 24th as well

we have only reached 30C in september once before, and with today not looking to go past 11C I doubt that'll happen this year.

When will Turku see its first sub 10C high?

I'd say 9 October.

It's probably not going to occur in the next two weeks, but I'm hoping it still happens in September.
Well it's extremely unlikely to happen in September, with the forecast max temps for the rest of the month not exceeding 23C.

Yes! I'm also not a fan of these "prediction" threads. Like, we're not psychics.

So let's keep it contained all in this thread at least.
