Beautiful day to be out fishing on the river.......
We didn't catch any trophys but we had a great time. The weather was perfect, no wind to blow you about, t-shirt and hoodie was enough to keep you comfortable.
Another fisherman caught a four-five foot sturgeon. He had him hooked for about half hour, the fish pulled their boat around for a quarter mile or more. They got pulled around the bend so we didn't get to see him land it. Later a couple of other guys told us they had finally landed it.

We were on the Wolf River down towards Fremont.
I'm between Point and Waupaca.
The guys that told us about landing the sturgeon said he had three lures besides the one the fisherman caught him with. They removed the lures and let him go. Some fish just don't learn.

Be careful if you smoke or are buring things. It's dry out there. This was on Hwy 51 this afternoon.

Joe, We've had tons of wildfires around here lately. It sure is dry.
Be careful everyone!

We went fishing on the Wolf River again, so did these birds, and I think they caught more fish than we did.......
Osprey landing on a nest with a fish:
..........
Osprey in a tree on the bank of the Wolf.....
..........
Great Blue heron fishing.
