Default What's your favorite Wisconsin beer?

First of all I'm just bored so I thought I would come up with a thread. I'm only 19 so I personally don't drink. Any ways I figure summer is coming up and what better of a subject than to ask about your favorite Wisconsin beer. If anyone needs any help figuring out a Wisconsin beer I would ask Drover, he is quite a help.

Some examples

Miller
Leinenkugels(Spelling)
Point Beer
Capitol
New Glarus

And so many more.

Thanks for responding, I think the Wisconsin forum is a little dead on the weekends. lol I guess that means we just have so much to offer living here. I look forward to seeing how this turns out.

LOL Yeah I saw my post about coming and things to do had alot of hits but two responses. Oh well that's just the way it goes sometimes. Good luck with your post! LOL Well, there's lots to do around here, too much to do sometimes, but I can honestly say I do NOT want to raise my family in this area. Cant wait to get back to WI!

Are you planning on just hitting up the eastern half of the state? I would recommend a day in the Dells with the little ones. Hopefully this Wisconsin forum picks up a little.

Maybe I'll have a few more responses in the morning.

I'm going to catch some Z's now.

Nite Everyone!

My two "go-to" Wisconsin beers, meaning those I drink on a casual basis and keep stocked up on, are Rocky's Revenge Bourbon-Barrel Brown from Tyranena and Arena Premium Pale Ale from Lake Louie. I'd say the absolute best Wisconsin beer is New Glarus Wisconsin Belgian Red, a cherry ale that is ranked as the second-best fruit beer in the world by the folks at Ratebeer and the best fruit/vegetable beer in the world by the folks at Beer Advocate. Ratebeer ranks it the 35th best beer in the world regardless of style, out of several thousand that are listed and reviewed there. That's high praise.

The brewery's Raspberry Tart is also very highly respected, coming in at #4 on Ratebeer's fruit beer list and #2 on Beer Advocate's fruit/vegetable beer list. I'm not a big fan of fruit beers but these two are astoundingly good.

My favorite brand of beer in WI is whatever brand my daughter has in the fridge when I visit her in Sturgeon Bay.

Red Eye Brewing Company just opened in Wausau. My brother and I ate their last night and he tried 3 of their beers and loved them. IPA was an excellent beer. They have a good selection. So if you are up this way check them out.
