Perhaps a real-life story can beat several fictitious Christmas stories on any given day. Just count on the holiday season to bring out the very best in a whole lot of people.

A friend of mine at work got me a Christmas gift to go with the Christmas card. It was a transparent, plastic Christmas ball ornament, and inside were some colored marshmallows and some cocoa mix. How about that, sports fans? Hot chocolate! I felt obliged to dig in, and I didn't care...
