We meet people everywhere. Our business is TO TURN THEM from being forgetful of God, from being devoid of faith, from being prayerless, so that they become people who habitually pray, who believe in God, remember Him and do his will.

Whenever we share a testimony of what the power of Jesus has done -- any miracle, healing, salvation account -- the Spirit of prophecy is loosed over the people who are hearing it. This means the Spirit of God is actively moving on them to create faith....

I know that we're not supposed to dwell in the past. But when it comes to places like Lubbock, one has to wonder what might have been if only....

If only what? What's missing from this city that it could have right now? I've touched on this a little in some previous chickenscratches, but I want to bring a little light to some dark areas. First off, where did Lubbock mess up in the past and what did this city miss out on?

My brother's MIL became a widow two-and-a-half years ago. She had to go into care immediately after her husband's death. The facility charges $12k per month and I don't know if there was a buy-in.

They love her and she's not unhappy where she is but whatever money was left is disappearing in leaps and bounds. I wish her (and everyone) a long life but...
