Tired

Posted 02-23-2014 at 01:30 PM by baileytinn

I remember one instance, where I was so close to getting hired by the Christian bookstore. But at the last minute they told me the "store was going in another direction" so that was a huge letdown.
I have a bachelor's degree in professional writing, with an emphasis in digital and technical writing. I...

One Thing I Really Miss When I'm At Work

Posted 02-23-2014 at 08:05 AM by case44 (Welcome To Case's Column)

Believe it or not, vacation's still going on for me. It allows opportunities to pause and reflect, as well as do the things we all take for granted. And that's not to mention all those other things, too. Tuesday (following this writing), I'll be back at work and back at putting my nose to the grindstone as I was put on this Earth to do, but I'll chase that rabbit when that time comes.

Sunday ~~ February 23, 2014 ~~ What should today's blog be about?

Posted 02-23-2014 at 12:23 AM by CSD610

His birthday was 2 days ago and we had a wonderful day, a good supper the night before that, leftovers for lunch and went out for supper on his birthday. The critters are somewhat lost with him being gone right now so they are being quite clingy with me and I miss him already. Actually I starting missing him before he pulled out...

Jholay --Guilty Pleasure

Posted 02-22-2014 at 06:54 PM by nepal2014

Jholay’ knows its audience. Although promoted as a dark comedy, the film is strictly slapstick and relies heavily on laughs through smash-ups, mishaps, comical chase sequences and excessive physical comedy. So putting all the nuances astray, Dipendra K Khanal holds the film with old-school humor and fresh jokes that save the film from being a wannabe.
The ‘jholay’ in question is Harke (Dayahang Rai). In the film’s very imaginative opening sequence, he describes himself as a vagrant...

The Tip of the Iceberg

Posted 02-21-2014 at 10:59 AM by Fortoggie

By now you have heard that Face book has paid 16 Billion for Whatsapp. The people I have talked to about this purchase and app have hardly raised an eyebrow. It hasn't sunk in, the money has so many zeros that it doesn't register
The young are just saying, oh boy now we have still another toy to play with but folks we are talking about a purchase here that is worth more than many of the old line companies that we have grown up with.
What I am saying is that Face Book, Google and Twitter...
