Horsing around with the animals

I haven't had the best of luck with animals in my life. Here are a couple of my more amusing or bizarre stories.

In 1971, my parents and grandmother took me to the San Francisco zoo. I am retelling this story from my folks perspective, since I was too young to remember it. I was in a stroller when we pulled up to the monkey exhibit. Across the enclosure was one of the larger males. Things Get Complicated

Posted 01-22-2014 at 12:07 PM by Fortoggie

I notice that on F B, people will list that they are married or single but then quite a few will say; in a complicated relationship. The church nor the bible ever use the term, complicated relationship when referring to man/woman relationships but if you study the bible you can infer that there were many complicated situations. Take Ruth and/or Esther, you can't get a more complicated situation than Esther had and yet she saved her people through her actions. Actions that are unmentionable from...

Burney, CA

Posted 01-22-2014 at 08:58 AM by palston5817

I would like to hear from people who live in Burney or someplace close to that area. I am retired and living on a fixed income. It will just be my dog and I. I am even open to Oregon. I just want out of this concrete jungle, called Dallas. I lived in So. CA. when I was young and went back in the sixties. I want to wake up in someplace beautiful. This will be my last move, because granny is getting tired...I think I might be turned off by comments on Redding. Homeless people all around, not for me....

The following video should have been available for a potential Sunday Funny which I'll bring you from time to time. But since I've got it for today, I think it'd be prudent to share it with you right now, and while I'm going to still have it available. Why? Because I like you.

Here's something to get a little laugh at. We all like to laugh at things we don't really expect in certain situations. What I'll be showing you below fits the current et al to a tee. Here,...

Are Houston Moderators biased?

Updated 05-22-2014 at 04:06 PM by TheDarkSide

Basically, I posted some personal FACTS about California being "faster" (more Hip, and quick)
and also Faster and Crazy-driving then
anything I've seen in Dallas OR Houston.

Which, to MY personal experience(s) is TRUE.

I realize that it may just be that "I" and the people I was always around, were the crazy drivers (lol)
and the SPEEDERS.

Some guys posted some Wiki facts about the speed limits on the FREEWAYS,...
