The Death Penalty

Despite the evidence being strictly circumstantial and perhaps even imagined in some ways, I hereby order the death of a certain mouse in my attic to commence as quickly as possible.

The charges against said mouse are as follows:

1. Chewing up to three holes in my hot water plumbing line over the last year. This has caused exorbitant damage to my attic, the insulation in the attic, and the sheetrock in my upstairs bedroom.

Mortgage Rates Still Under Attack

The theme of the past week and a half continued yesterday with the fixed income markets. Mortgage backed securities and treasuries continued to move lower in price(higher in yield) for the sixth consecutive day of losses. The losses were not to severe and there was no reports of lenders repricing for the worse. Most of the losses had occurred early in the morning and were already accounted for on lender rate sheets when they were issued.

The only potentially market mover yesterday...

Why listings expire

In today’s blogpost, I would like to discuss why listings expire on the market and what could be the possible solution.

Firstly, we must have a clear understanding of what an expired listing is. An expired listing is a listing that was on the active Multiple Listing Service (MLS) being viewed by potential buyers or their agents before the expiry. The listing expires as the contract exceeds pre-defined date for listing between the listing agent and the seller.
