A commenter points out a local angle: Jan Morgan, the gun-toting, motorcycle-riding, lib-hating former candidate for governor in Arkansas, was one of the speakers at the rally. You can see some photos of the rally, including an AP picture of Morgan, here.

Morgan gained notoriety in 2014 for declaring her Gun Cave shooting range a “Muslim Free Zone.” She waged an unsuccessful primary challenge in 2018 against Governor Hutchinson.

I think she is the one in the red jacket, above the crowd, almost at the bottom of the page.

A witness, 24, who lives across the road, stated he was looking out his window and saw a white four-door passenger car drive away from the scene in the direction of Mountain Pine Road just after the shots were fired.

Deputies located five bullet holes in the building, including two where the bullets passed through the building and one that reportedly passed in close proximity to Morgan's head where she slept.

The incident was still under investigation Monday, but no arrests had been made. Anyone with information about the incident or possible suspects should contact the sheriff's department at 622-3660.

Both sides want your money and both want control. They try to achieve it in different ways, but make no mistake there are no good guys in politics. Every person who strives to be a lawmaker does so because they are arrogant enough to think they have a right to rule others.

No, they don't. I don't care who you know. Liberals and people on the left value the freedoms and rights afforded Americans every bit as much conservatives and people on the right value them. Every person has their own perspective, their own values, their own experiences that mold their political positions, and every person is unique.

Certainly not true: My husband did PR for politicians.In fact for one of the best presidents we have ever had. There are many good politicians nay bigger egos than most of us, but they are not all bad nor do they all want your money. There are many good guys and gals on both sides and they attempt to do what they think is best for you, me and our country. They have no desire to rule others. They have ideas that they hope will help. Of course there are a few A Hs but most do want to make a difference.

I have to wonder where you are getting such an ugly picture of those who serve our country and our communities. Would you rather live in a country with no one ruling and no laws, programs and no one controlling what is going on?

Saying this is like kicking someone all the while promising them you're not kicking them. What's happening in Virginia is just the start of it. Dems/Libs are attempting to unconstitutionally infringe on the 2nd amendment rights of American citizens, so don't hand us your spew about how you value our freedoms.
