285 Top End, both directions, has been red and orange all day long. Wow.

Atlanta, with its limited road network, is much more vulnerable than almost all other America metros.

I have friends that will be driving through Atlanta on their way back to Indianapolis from Florida. Will they be fine staying on I 75 or should they take an alternate route through Alabama? They are leaving Ft. Myers tonight.

They should be ok if they come through on Saturday or Sunday. Just take 285 around Atlanta.

If it were a weekday, I would work my way over to I-65 either cutting over through Troy or up to Albany and Columbus.

Thanks for your help. I will be driving to Florida myself 2 weeks from Today. Does it affect South Bound I75 at all? I will be coming through around 1 PM on Friday the 14th.

That would take a lot of drivers but not all. Plus current state of MARTA I don't think there's enough parking at the stations.

Now you are trying to compare current MARTA to a potential situation. MARTA would have adjusted for the additional riders and added P&R.

And strangely, I-19/400 is looking green. I am not sure why this is the case.
