Guaranteed apartments are going to be impossible to come by near downtown the next few months. I'm betting many of the more well to do folks who live in the burbs are going to live in town Monday through Thursday and just go month to month somewhere. This will make an already overpriced market worse in the near future

I hate to say this...

Since this is going to be a long multi-month fix, would it be advantageous to go ahead and re-do the whole or parts of the northbound viaduct and take advantage of the harsh reality we are facing? .... even if it takes a bit longer.

A large part of the construction costs we face these days is keeping roadways open.

I'm not really sure what the current expected lifespan is of that viaduct.

I own a multi-family rental downtown. I hope you're right. It's my only investment property outside of Cobb.

This is the first I have heard about this as I don't watch the news. Where on the 85 is shut down? I am curious because sometimes I take 75 South to 85 North Nd then exit I think at exit 93 or 94. Will I still be able to do this or is this area also affected?
