That's right, Cobb's doorstep... AKA... THE CITY OF ATLANTA. The very core of the metro, MARTA member since the beginning, and now a 1.5% extra paying MARTA member.

My deepest apologies sir, for the mere suggestion that the NW quadrant of the city proper should have MARTA rail service. That they pay for.

Never going to make sense to run heavy rail to every corner of even the city limits, let alone the metro no matter how many years you are chipping in your pennies. People need to get over this entitlement.

Honestly, this is a main reason we need more privatization in transportation. Transportation will then literally just be built for those that pay for it. It has a great benefit for MARTA too because they then want to keep their customers happy and coming back so they keep getting a paycheck.

Who cares about the Braves anymore? Cobb can have them. Meanwhile, the good Atlanta teams are playing in MBS and Atlanta United is bringing the kind of excitement to Atlanta sports that the Braves did over 20 years ago, the last time they were relevant.

Yeah the Braves won't sniff the playoffs anytime soon. They had a better year than what I expected, but they still suck, and this John Coppalella stuff that's going on now could really set the franchise back another 4-5 years. The MLB has it out for the Braves behind the shenanigans that moron was doing. I don't think most folks on here realize how serious the MLB investigation into the Braves is. We could potentially lose some of our best prospects, not to mention that the next GM will have a tough sell making trades with other teams seeing as how the Braves FO is now on every other MLB teams sh*t list. STOP WORRYING ABOUT THE COBB MOVE PEOPLE!!! This team is a disaster, we all need to take that energy and direct it towards this teams **** poor ownership.

Sounds like a bunch of bad karma. I dont even know who John Coppalella is. You say the MLB is not on good terms with the Braves? That is interesting.

Not knowing much about what, exactly, they did [look for the words "package deal" to start getting thrown around], if the punishment is anything like the Red Sox got last year [a punishment that charted new territory because the transgression charted new territory], the Braves could stand to lose some of the players they drafted from the international pool, along with the signing bonuses AND they'll be banned from participating in next year's international draft.

90 losses. But, hey; 3rd place finish!

SunTrust Park: The El Felix to open at The Battery | Atlanta Restaurant Scene

The Battery at SunTrust Park is set to get its newest tenant this month.

Ford Fry’s Tex-Mex restaurant The El Felix will open for lunch and dinner on Nov. 20. Chef Kevin Maxey’s menu will offer Mexican-inspired staples found on The El Felix menu at Avalon in Alpharetta, as well as special menu items for The Battery eatery.

The restaurant will feature a 1947 Raymond Lowey-inspired taco truck built into the design of the restaurant, offering nachos with spicy brisket chili, queso, sour cream and jalapenos escabeche; hot tamales; steak and chicken tacos al carbon; and margaritas, allowing customers to take food and beverages into The Battery and the ballpark. Other menu items will include tacos de carnitas, made with slow-cooked pork shoulder with cilantro, onions and salsa cremosa; and an assortment of tacos dorados, pan-fried tacos stuffed with shrimp, mushrooms and cheese and enchiladas suizas.

The restaurant will be open to the public pre- and post-game, as well as during the off-season for:

Ford Fry will join other high-profile Atlanta chefs with projects at The Battery, including Linton Hopkins’ C Ellet’s Stekahouse, Hugh Acheson’s Fifth & Third Hot Dog & Sausage Shack and the forthcoming Achie’s at The Omni at The Battery, Todd English’s Todd English Tavern and Hector Santiago’s second location of El Super Pan.

That sentiment is exactly why they left the city. People blame the Braves when they should blame Atlanta. At some point you have accept the fact that the landlord isn't going to fix the AC and move out.
