Special memories for me, my dad was a store manager there when I was a little kid. They had the best biscuits and cinnamon rolls.

Many Sports Town locations were gobbled up by Sports Authority...now, SA has been gone for a few years.
Completely different store, Dick's seems to have the $$$ to hang on and even expand. Academy is also in the running(for certain departments).

Are there any other large footprint sporting goods stores in ATL? We've been gone a while.

Back in the 1990s there was a small pizza/mediterranean restaurant next to Diversions at Parkside Shopping Center in Sandy Springs, GA. Do you happen to know the name of it?

Default 1990s Sandy Springs, GA

Back in the 1990s there was a small pizza/mediterranean restaurant next to Diversions at Parkside Shopping Center in Sandy Springs, GA. Does anyone happen to remember the name of it? I used to take my children to it all the time, and I just can't remember the name.

Default Sans Souci

Gone and nearly forgotten. We had a routine for Friday nights in the early 70's...meet at either the Ivy St Library or around the corner on Auburn at the Pewter Mug. Play liar's poker while imbibing and then head uptown to the Sans. I remember bartender Lloyd there. Some may claim to have seen someone resembling me across the street at the Buccaneer but that wasn't me. Sometimes stopped in at Rosa's Cantina just north of the Varsity. Wow...haven't thought about the Sans in many moons.
