There's a difference between history and culture and you seem to have those two things confused. History needs to be preserved in some instances.

well I personally wouldn’t exactly feel like a victim if I walked out the deal with an extra $700k ... albeit maybe I would recognize that’s still a relatively small piece of the pie in the grand scheme of things.

Exactly. The person paying $700K for a POS house is the real victim here.

My brother paid $700,000 for this really nice 3,200 sq/ft house on one acre in Georgetown...

Is Georgetown more affordable than Round Rock or are they about the same?

On average I'd say slightly more affordable but they can both peak out at about the same prices.
