Well, it would have taken me 4 months to hit a big black cow in the middle of the night coming home from work...
I'm fine but my brand new car is totaled!!! And they had to shoot the cow...

You live in Richford? I was trying to get up there all this week but it never happened. My mother's family goes way back in Richford and her ancestors founded that little town. I still have relatives who have a farm near the Pinnacle with the Canadian border right behind them. They are VERY religious, Seventh Day Adventist.

My aunt used to talk about the cold up there in winter and how the clothes would immediately freeze when you hung them on the line. Her family used to own a general store in Richford.

Personally, I could never make it through a winter up there and it's sort of desolate and run down now. But there's a lot of history (for me at least) and I wanted to visit the historical society.

Congrats on your success--and if I DO get up there, we'll drop in and try to find you at that restaurant.

I don't really understand when people say it's run down... I mean, there isn't festivals every weekend or concerts or things like that, not even clothing stores (other than a thrift store) but there's everything you really need. Then if you want more you can drive to nearest towns...

The stars are magical to look at up here. I guess I live in the "good" part of town and our neighborhood is so so nice. Houses are old and beautiful, trees everywhere... I just came back from a midnight stroll so I feel very good about where I live right now lol.
