Lololol. Um. If Apple is “moving out of state”, how is it not at least curious they have expanded to Irvine and Culver City?

Large corporations move and expand various parts and divisions all around the world all the time. Apple’s not leaving California. They’re expanding. In various places. Including more in California.

Sheesh.

Are you sure of that? From what I'm reading they are going to continue building the Mac Pro in Texas, the same place where they've made them since 2013. Apple was talking about having them made in China, utilizing two contractors but I guess Trump relented on tariffs for the parts made in China that will be shipped to Texas so Apple agreed not to close the Texas facility. https://www.statesman.com/news/20190...main-in-austin

If there's another Apple product being made in Texas I haven't heard about it.

I'm not sure they are 'moving out of state'. In 2018 Apple announced that it was 'expanding' with new officers in Austin, Seattle, San Diego and Culver City, California. Recently they announced that they were going to shift the manufacture of Mac Pro's from Austin to China but Trump gave them some kind of tariff exemption on the parts that are manufactured in China and shipped to the US, so they decided not to move the plant to China.

So yeah, I agree Sheesh

Recessions are cyclical for the most part, with some exceptions. There is no doubt another one will occur, but the timing is somewhat unknown, whether it be this year or next. California is certainly not immune, and may in fact be in more danger than some areas due to slowing population growth.

The Southern California median home price was flat in August, while sales dipped from a year earlier as buyers struggled to afford sky-high housing costs.

There is a difference between a recession and a slump in pricing. The last is common the first is actually very rare.
