Were you also against SB 33 in 1982?

Sounds like you must be in a pretty urban neighborhood. I'm in the suburbs and don't have any of those issues in my community. I also don't think you have to be in CA to experience those issues.

Newson has one thing on his mind and that is the presidency of 2024. So I doubt he'll give a rat's ()() about leaving California in 3rd-world despair. I mean look at his actions just since January 2019, less than two years under his leadership and look at us.

This is nothing but bs. they will not be able to drive non gas market as it's really small. His executive order likely to be reversed by the time 2035 comes around.

He got on chances, he is not a leader of the party. Maybe as VP but i am not seeing that happening as the would not be helping to bring any states. California is reliable Democratic state, so there is no benefit of having him on a ticket.

I firmly believe the ultimate goal is to make car ownership more and more difficult and expensive. Promote public transportation, put commoners on the bus, and leave the wide-open freeways and roads for the governing elite.

I just read WSJ and it says this. Basically as i said before nothing but bs. I can see maybe 20-30% of all new cars being zero emission but there is no way that they will be able to do all new cars being zero emission "

"This isn’t the first time the state has tried to push electric vehicles. A 1990 mandate required 2% of new cars sold in California by 1998 be zero-emission vehicles. At the time, there were only a couple models available that complied, General Motors ’ EV1 and Honda’s EV Plus. Both cars were small and had limited ranges. The mandate was unsuccessful."

Also

"The goal is an ambitious one, given the relatively small size of the electric car market currently. Through July, 6.2% of light vehicles registered in California were electric powered and 1.6% in the entire U.S., according to IHS Markit."

It's all single family homes but the homeless, and of course illegals, numbers are pretty big. It's not right on the beach but close enough to be a pita.
