Only grain free. Was Evo for a while, but I'm loathe to feed something that has since been bought by Procter and Gamble. I went through a bag or most of one, of Instinct, but it was clear she didn't really like it as much
The Evo coupons that I got didn't come from P&G, they came from the Natura Pet Products company, and their name is on the package, and it's the same package as always, otherwise, I wouldn't have used them. When the Evo is gone, I'll go back to Blue Buffalo, but right now I have three 6.6lb bags that I got for free.
If there is a PetPeople store near where you live, they will give you sample packages of dry cat food if you ask them.
My two eat (Bear in mind, they are in Sweden, so brands go for what I had/my partner now has there):
Wiskas, Friskies, P u s s y (haha It sounds stupid in English, but in Swedish it's just a word for cat ), Mjau. They'll gobble it throughout the day and they also get daily wet/canned food as well.
We tried to feed them EuroShopper brand kibble and even the fuzzball with the nickname hoover snuffed that one! They just give a disappointed, disapproving look that says "Do you expect me to eat that?!?"
I feed mine Hill's Science Diet c/d, which I get from my veterinarian. He refuses to eat much wet food, and when he does it upsets his digestion. He's 16 years old and has been on it for 15 years. He's a happy kitty!
Ours eat one from Costco.......Their brand(Kirkland Signature) Super premium maintenance made with real chicken. They love it and it's very good for them and their immunity system.

c/d is not Science Diet, it is Prescription Diet.
Both are made by Hills. Hills Prescrption Diet c/d is a prescrption diet made specifically for cats with FLUTD or other urinary tract problems.
PLEASE keep in mind that the Pet Food Industry is the ONLY industry allowed to state any "facts" they so desire on a package label. The pretty pictures of raw meat, vegetables, etc and the words "premium," "healthy," etc do NOT have to be FACTUAL. The only true facts are in the ingredients list.
Dry food, any brand, is NOT the optimal diet for obligate carnivores.
I second the catinfo site. A lot of her advice does work well...I just find that some of our foster cats have been challenging to say the least in the food department. If I had my own cats, I would definitely try raw or only feed Weruva exclusively.
