In response to Chromekitty: It really doesn't matter, as I'm firmly in the camp of the "Haves" and I intend to stay that way. Get money make money, stack that bank!

I have to wonder what Karl Rove or the Charlotte City Council have to do with the supposed issues with Wall Street though. What's the phrase "the master of lastmind" mean? I'm not familiar with "lastmind."

At least most in this country those that work have a much higher standard of living. At least the top 400 have actually done something to obtain their wealth. Good for them. Somebody has to be at the top and set the standard. Besides, if these widgets for which you mentioned were made in the U.S., they would be twice the price of those made in Chain or India. Unions would make that a reality.

When I feel that I am being deprived more than I am, I will be concerned. At this time, my only concern is paying the tab for unwed mothers that have no intention on supporting their own brats and buying lunches for poor children while their moms spend $10 a day on scratch off lotterys.

I dot have a problem with people making money but when te average workers pay has been stagnant for 10 years while he upper crust has increased at record numbers it makes you wonder.

I don't buy the opinion that companies were forced to go overseas. Once the first company realized they could get a sweater, shoe, tv, widget etc for a slave wage all the others followed. We could eliminate corporate taxes and they would still go overseas because you can sweatshop and child labor 3rd world countries to death without getting sued.

I remember a news story about a house builder who only used American products and his cost weren't that much higher than the competition.

I'll admit it, I'm part of the problem. I could buy local or take extra time to support small businesses but sometimes I want now so I go to Walmart.

Times have changed and it's not going back to the good old days. I know Americans like to think we are better than our competition but for the most part we are a consuming economy. We spend and buy and rarely create anything.

I'm so tired of this occupy movement. Seriously have you seen these people if they are the 99 percent then I must be part of the 1percent without the money. I hate the blame crowd. You know there could be some changes to certain laws regarding corporations.

Instead of wasting all your free time camping in tents why don't you do it to do something productive. I make less money at my job then I did 3 years ago, but I am making more money total than I did 3 years ago. Why, cause I work hard. In my free time I buy things and then resell them. I won't say what they are cause its perfectly legal, and I don't need any competition.

Get a job get 2 heck get 3 if that is what it takes. In my job I'm in contact with a lot of the so called one percent. The one thing you'll find is they got there through hard work, not waiting on a handout from someone else

What you have written here has NOTHING to do with what OWS is about, not at all. Reach out beyond LSM and learn what is about.

Why wouldn't you want competition after all it is healthy for the market ya know?

I agree wholeheartedly! I scoff at this bunch of OWS people that say they represent the 99% of us when I couldn't be any more different than they are: 1) My DW and I work for a living and provide for our family within our means, 2) I carry myself with a sense of dignity and presentation (where some people actually may want to invite me into their homes without hosing me down!), 3) if I choose to fight the system, I'll put together a plan and implement it with decorum and in the proper venue.

Furthmore I'm against any person or group that espouses socialist views. I just don't understand how anyone has the time to camp out to protest. Its just beyond my simple mind. the tea party never did this, because they had families and jobs to return too, and don't tell me there is no jobs there is. Like I said get off your butt and get 2 get 3 if that is what it takes. They want to blame the so called elites.

Like I said in my last post most of those so called elites got there through hard work. I see how hard they work, and I say no thanks all the money in the world isn't worth that lifestyle.

Lastly I love how they will embrace an elite with their leftist views.
