A tent down where?
No one knows who "started" the movement, as it has no official leadership.

Like I said get off your butt and get 2 get 3 if that is what it takes. They want to blame the so called elites.

Like I said in my last post most of those so called elites got there through hard work. I see how hard they work, and I say no thanks all the money in the world isn't worth that lifestyle.

Lastly I love how they will embrace an elite with their leftist views.

What leftist elite have they "embraced"?

When a corporation takes a minimum wage job making a widget from the US and ships to india or china for let's say a dime a day, and THEN has the gall to bring that widget back here to this country and sell it for the same price he would have sold it at paying US wages that is pure, disgusting greed.
And that is exactly the type of greed people are sick and tired of and not outting up with it any longer. And if any person can not see the wrong and greed in that, then they are just as disgusting as the politicians doing it.
I wouldn't necessarily call it greed. The companies are just increasing their profits by using the laws the US government put in place.

You see when this country signed all of these "free" trade laws 30-40yrs ago with countries like China, it was justified to American public with the promise of lower priced goods.

Well we got our cheap goods and corporations got their big profits. Such laws made it almost necessary to move your manufacturing overseas in order to compete so gradually the US manufacturing base has been sent to other countries. The problem now is that the same jobs the middle class had when free trade laws went into effect are mostly gone and Americans are now realizing that they can no longer afford to buy those cheap goods because they're working low-paying service jobs now.

It also doesn't help that other countries still heavily tax our exports while we import their goods for little tax or free. Not to mention the Chinese currency manipulation. American manufacturers have no chance.

So I don't blame the corporations. They're just taking advantage of the laws that are in place in order to maximize their profits. The same thing almost all of us would do were we in that position. People need to look at Washington if they want fundamental change. The only occupy movement should be in DC.

The initial Occupy Wall Street event was started by the Canadian magazine "Adbusters".

That is common knowledge.

You folks want to see a return to some semblance of income equality (what a disgusting tripe of a phrase that flies in the spirit of America)? Stop doing everything in your power to legally steal (because that's what it is - don't mince words) from the very same people who would love to bring middle-upper class jobs back to America... if you'd only stop trying to raid their bank accounts because you've failed in some way and yours is at $0.00 or in the red.

So those who disagree with your are "disgusting". Hm. Well, it is easier to villify people with differing opinions than to actually engage in a discussion.
