hahahahahahaha. I love you people so much. I asked my 3 yr. old daughter if the moon is flat or round, and she said, "Hooha, that's funny Papa!" "Why is that funny Sweetpea?," I said. Without hesitation she answered saying, "Because Daddy my head is round and the moon has a face on it!"
I'm not knowledgable enough to convince you that the writers were speaking of the earth as being round but they didn't say flat circle.
