Mike you really need to listen to what you are saying. If someone is in need of mercy, do you honestly believe when mercy is shown them they will reject it ?

That was not what i asked you. If you know you were in need of mercy and it was shown you,would you reject it?. Yes or No ? It's a very simple question.
Anybody else who believes God damns a man, care to answer it ?
The suffering of those who die never having received Christ as Savior is eternal and it is deserved. The holiness of God is infinite, and therefore any trangression against God is deserving of eternal punishment. But man is not condemned for his personal sins. He is condemned on the basis of one sin only. Adam's original sin is imputed to every person who is born, resulting in condemnation - spiritual death - separation from God. Man's personal sins were never imputed to him for condemnation but were instead imputed to Jesus Christ on the cross where He paid the penalty for those sins, including Adams original sin. Since Jesus was perfect and did not deserve punishment, His substitutionary spiritual death on the cross satisfied the righteous demands of God the Father.
The penalty for sin has been paid and is not the issue in eternal salvation. The only issue is making a volitional decision to respond to the gospel by placing your faith in Christ. If you refuse to accept what Christ did on your behalf then you are by default standing before God on your own merits, on the basis of your own righteousness, and on that basis you stand condemned.
Man's relative righteousness can never measure up to Gods absolute righteousness and God must reject it. As recorded in Revelation 20:11-15, the unbeliever is condemned on the basis of his deeds.
The Bible is the word of God and what it says about the lake of fire is absolute truth.
The lie of Satan, voiced by his unwitting helpers, is that hell is not real. Or that it is only a temporary place of purification. The devil and the rest of the fallen angels know their eternal fate. But so many people who think that they know God while ignoring what He has revealed about Himself and about the future of those who reject His offer of salvation continue in denial.
The majority of mankind is going to spend eternity in hell. And it need not have been that way, because God has provided the means of escape. God gave man volition so that he could accept or reject the offer of salvation. Reject the offer of salvation and you will go to hell forever. It is that simple. And the only opportunity to make that choice is while you are alive on this earth. After that, it is too late.

To those who believe what the Word of God says about eternal salvation, on what basis do you justify not believing what the Word of God says about eternal punishment for those who refuse the offer of eternal salvation? You are without excuse!!!
this is such a negative way of thinkin, it contradicts the true nature of the soul which loves not only our freinds but our enemys too,there will be no excuse in beleiving God promotes/enforces ET on the non-beleiver and preaching that the majority of mankind will burn forever,which is an out-dated medi-evil thought system designed to breath fear and terror into the hearts of the people,modern-day christianity is just a sect from the old roman catholic's and this is where this beleif came from,if you need to beleive that God is an entity only to be feared then i feel sorry for you and no-wonder people turn away from christianity,how can you beleive God is good and yet enforces ET.
if even one soul ended up in eternity suffering i beleive that God would do what he could to get that soul out.
punishment and ET are 2 completely different things.
