Of course not. Why would I do such a thing?

Not in our Church, ever. Lock me up, hard left liberals, but your homosexuals are not getting married in our Church.

Of course not. We've done this dance before. The "withholding services" thing is entirely in the eye of the beholder. You call us bigots because we live our religion according to what God actually said.....we say no one is being discriminated against. Gay people always have been able to get married, it was only a question of the TYPE of marriage they wanted, etc.....And on it goes.

That's the problem with liberalism. Be it religion, or politics, the liberal mindset sees only one way to view an issue and anyone that disagrees with them is automatically labeled a bigot or is wrong for daring to have a different view.

I'm quite certain no gay person would want anything to do with a church which tolerates you as a parishioner.

According to the bible, is there really people out there who are not murderers?

Are there really people in this forum who have not been angry with somebody and then acted in anger? You are a murderer. Is there really a man in this forum who can honestly say to himself that he did not lust after a woman or any flesh in the last month? You are an adulterer, and a fornicator worthy of death.

According to the spirit of the bible, you had better keep the laws of Moses better than those in Jesus day and now this means that you can't even get angry with your brother or you are a murderer, and if you lust, you are guilty of sexual immorality.

I can only speak for myself, but I am all these things all the time.

According to the spirit of the bible, are you lying to yourself?

I'm not sure you are understanding Jesus' words very well here. He is not necessarily saying anger = Murder or sexual desire of any woman (regardless of marital status) = Adultery...I can explain why if you'd like but it might take us off topic...needless to say I have a feeling you've seen "Way of the Master" one too many times...which can lead to 'growing pains!' (rimshot) Ah that joke never gets old

I'd like to say good for you. We have a lot of casinos where I live and unfortunately they are quite a temptation to sin, especially it seems for older/retired people. I know many older/retired people who are active, believing Christians, but that go to the casinos. They are an enticement and many people don't even seem to think twice about it. Maybe they haven't considered it as a sinful activity or really thought about its broader implications; maybe they're trying not to have that internal conversation. Believe me, I know what that's like from my own struggles in life.

Unfortunately, whether one holds that it's a sin or not to gamble, and I recognize the Bible doesn't directly touch on the subject, many lives and families are ruined by gambling addiction. So it's not just old folks taking the casino bus for a social outing and playing penny slots; it's fathers and mothers gambling everything their family has away. Therefore, a state, and a society, is better off without them.

To the extent that one's state or society allows them, though, all one can do is try their best to avoid the temptation and try to lead people to Jesus Christ. The thrill of winning is nothing compared to the peace of accepting one's Savior.
