Back to my unanswered question to the others: Is God capable of feeling hate, or is he only capable of feeling love?
Your question has been answered, Finn . . . numerous times. God does NOT hate, period. IT is a human psychological weakness that God does NOT have. Humans hate . . . NOT God. They project their hate and desire for vengeance onto God under the label of justice. But it fools no one who truly knows God IS agape love. God can be grieved and saddened when those He loves create evil or suffer from it. But He never hates.

I clarified it for you before, saying the concept of human hate cannot be applied to God since human hatred has evil intents and motivations, which I do not believe God harbors. Grieve is a good word. I agree God is grieved by certain things like murder, but I think it really the same as saying God hates murder. God grieved the evil of man during the time of Noah, and He decided to wipe out most people on earth.
Why does God hate murder? Because it is contrary to His nature.
Leave it to you guys and it is twisted into meaning I believe in god of hate.

So, you believe he hates murder, but tormenting someone for all eternity is fine?
In other words, it lines up with his nature to be cruel and vindictive?
Personally, I would call that a hate crime? And nothing justifies it!

Amen, Jer!! There can be NO justification for such an atrocity for ANY reason . . . but especially NEVER from a God who IS agape love!

Cognitive dissonance: In psychology, cognitive dissonance is the excessive mental stress and discomfort experienced by an individual who (1) holds two or more contradictory beliefs, ideas, or values at the same time or (2) is confronted by new information that conflicts with existing beliefs, ideas, or values. Included, stress and discomfort may also arise within an individual who holds a belief and performs a contradictory action or reaction.
It is for this reason that you find so many truly crazy people inside organized religious institutions - because they know something doesn't add up, but they have been told what they MUST believe and they just accepted it and never allowed themselves the freedom to think about things. This is the power of fear in operation. The power of fear is quite incredible and only one thing can deliver from it -- Agape Love - the entrance of light in a person's heart and that cataclysmic deliverance that occurs when, for the first time, one truly trusts in God's goodness and mercy. It is then that a person is liberated to stop being frozen with the fear of punishment - fear of death - fear of rejection , etc.... Jesus said there is no fear in LOVE because fear has torment (and has to do with punishment). Anyone bound by fear or terror is not free in Christ. There are MANY on that WIDE ROAD of bondage.

It appears that the time for humanity to wake up is now.
It is, but will not get answered. He might say how humans hate and how God hates are different but that will be the best you get out Finn Jarber or from anyone who believes God hates.

(or the ever famous.. "God doesn't send people to hell... they send theirselves to hell." )
I believe that God "hates", or is opposed to sin, even the sinner, but in this way. He hates the sinner, the fleshly man in us, so much that He destroys the old man, the sinner, so that we can be set free from its slavery. Sin only destroys, the sinner is in bondage to sin, that which destroys us. God sees beyond what we are, and will destroy that which destroys us, because of His great love for us, and this being in His design of things anyway. Those who are in Christ, are a new creation, and are not to live according to the flesh, that part which is opposed to God. We are being transformed into His image, and His image is not about sin. We can hate what a person has become and still love the person, and do whatever it takes to bring about change. God bless and peace.
