It's weird. I've never heard an adulterer, or a drunkard, or a kleptomaniac, or anyone that has a different sin than homosexuality ask me "What if I'm wrong?" about their pet sin.
Why do we make exceptions for one sin and not others?
All those sins are harmful to others. Would you tell us how two same sex lovers harm others? Don't give us crap about them harming themselves unless you are standing before your congregation weekly to tell them eating too much sausage is bad for you and therefore biblically sinful.

So, you think God will simply overlook someone's pet sin simply because it's not "harmful to others" as you define it?
Then God can send me to hell for being kind, accepting, and for treating homosexuals as my equals.
If you are wrong, He will send you to hell for being judgmental and self-righteous.
Which of us is more likely to be forgiven on judgment day based on Jesus' life?
No God will be displeased that you lead people to hell by encouraging them to sin. If we are wrong then God just needs to explain to us why he didn't make things more clear in His Word.
Actually, yes--it's pass/fail. You are either perfect and righteous in God's eyes, or you're not. Your eternal destiny depends on it.
And your sin is seeing pass/fail (the cross) as the only reason Jesus came to live among us. He could have spared us three years of sharing His wisdom and just climbed up on the cross. But His emphasis was far more in sharing that wisdom (three years worth) than "saving" us (six hours on the cross). But you turn His whole ministry into a pass/fail test.
Was the Good Samaritan going to hell? He didn't believe in Jesus nor did he read the same Bible as Jews. I just want to know if he went to hell. Don't tell us you don't know. Fundamentalist preachers know everything.

Yes I do. Because Jesus gave us a new commandment to love others as ourselves. It wiped out the bottom six of the Ten Commandments. The first four were summed up by love God with all your strength and heart and mind. What personal sins exist that do not harm others? You have a list?
Wonder why God didn't give a commandment about hating what we think is sin in others? Should that be our eleventh commandment as written by Vizio?
