Those with God's spirit know there is no problem as you present it. Those without it, think it means the Bible is not God's word. Jesus had no problem with using it in his day, a good example for us.

Those with God's Holy Spirit of agape love know there is a problem and the Bible is NOT God's word, Jesus IS! Those without His Holy Spirit, think the Bible is God's word. The Bible did not exist for Jesus to use. What scrolls and scripture did exist were never called God's word.

My mother can bake bread like like. No other.
So much so that she left me with memories.
Here we are talking about the kitchen.
And all I can think about is how theses beautifull woman knew how to take care of the family.
You claim authority for the Bible, and act as though we are accepting that preposterous idea BY quoting from the Bible. You have been told that the scriptures ONLY have value when they are confirmed by the Spirit.
Unless you can understand this, you will keep making the SAME inane comment and I will keep calling you on it. You are not that dumb.

You are SO bought into the idea of the AUTHORITY of the BIBLE that you can't even see what it means if you are WRONG about that idea.
The Bible has NO authority in itself. ALL authority is in the Guide Jesus promised. When you can understand that concept, THEN we can talk about contradictions and/or why I can use the Bible as the best expression of a point (besides being the only thing to which YOU will pay attention) without citing it AS AUTHORITY.
God's Word states that a prerequisite for being a pastor, elder, or deacon is to be a man......

Thank you z, for posting this. It's good to know that someone is discussing this here, while I've been off holding other Christians accountable for this elsewhere.
It is a huge responsibility to be sure..
I HAVE MISSED YOU! I am encouraged to see you are still "fighting" the good fight..

So are you claiming that if someone believes the Bible is inerrant, they do not and can not have the Holy Spirit indwelling them?

Mystic, i think this needs help wadr, and not only @ "Those without..."
I appreciate you search the Scriptures for Word of Me, when here I am in front of you as much as the next guy, but Christ referred to the Bible then extant quite a bit, and i think @ "What scrolls..." you are gonna be hard-pressed as well. They were not considered God's Word?

If the Holy Spirit epitomizes insight, understanding and recognition of truth, you are correct.
One cannot believe in an inerrant bible and claim possession of those attributes.
