Okay that has been done..... make it in a far off land. That's it. No. Make that an island.

Did I mention this was a graphic novel?
Ok, so you don't believe that Jesus is the Messiah, and you are Jewish. Can you trace your lineage back to one of the twelve tribes of Israel?

Don't give up your day job. Oy.

The Life of Ronk continues

I took apart and fixed my first carburetor when I was twelve. My first engine at fourteen.
I was a ballerina at age six.
I had a fourteen gauge shot gun pointed between my eyes when I was thirteen. I was too scared to flinch.

My Tribe? We can take apart and fix cars. We dance like ballerinas. We do not flinch.

I was asking because some are under the impression that you can 'become' Jewish by adopting the religion, when in fact 'Jewishness' is a bloodline, the descendants of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, via the patriarchs. I normally post to the Politics forum, never the Religion forum, but something prompted to.

There are many non-believing Jews who are accepting Jesus as their Messiah, and there will be 144,000 Jews witnessing to the non-believers during the Tribulation, hope you don't wait till then... it will be a lot worse.

Again. Do not give up your day job. You wanted to discuss Pilate not Ronk. However, since you seem oddly interested.......

Her story continues.

The first love of my life for all of three minutes dumped me for a cheerleader. He was the football Captain. They were a perfect match. They married and had three children. It was a great three minute run.

I have benefited from having many soul mates. Each and every one an amazing human being. I carry each of them with me.

You can be Jewish through your mother but not your father...You can become Jewish through Halakhic conversion...So, I don't know where you got your information from...

.
Tell that to Isaac, Jacob, David, Solomon and a tens of thousands more like everyone in Israel until 70AD when it ended being able to know who was of what family let alone what tribe.

The modern Mother only is not right, just what men decided on. They don't trust their women to be faithful to their Jewish husbands, as a male Jew could have a child not his own according to the reasoning and ... it would not be a Jew by blood. Scripture disagrees with the mother being the determining factor or Ruth's son would not be a Jew nor would her husband be a Jew and then David would not be either.

Ah, so you know better than the Jews...Got it...BTW, Ruth converted...AND...

Boaz (a descendant of the courageous prince Nachshon of the tribe of Judah, who was first to jump into the high waves of the Red Sea) was the most important person of the Jewish people in his days. He and Ruth were blessed with children, and Ruth lived long enough to see her great-grandson David become king of Israel. - Ruth - Jewish History

In the Bible, wherever the genealogy of a Jewish person is traced, be it Moses or Jesus, it is always via the father, not the mother.

Exodus 6:14-27English Standard Version (ESV)
The Genealogy of Moses and Aaron

These are the heads of their fathers' houses: the sons of Reuben, the firstborn of Israel: Hanoch, Pallu, Hezron, and Carmi; these are the clans of Reuben.
The sons of Simeon: Jemuel, Jamin, Ohad, Jachin, Zohar, and Shaul, the son of a Canaanite woman; these are the clans of Simeon.
These are the names of the sons of Levi according to their generations: Gershon, Kohath, and Merari, the years of the life of Levi being 137 years.
The sons of Gershon: Libni and Shimei, by their clans.
The sons of Kohath: Amram, Izhar, Hebron, and Uzziel, the years of the life of Kohath being 133 years.
The sons of Merari: Mahli and Mushi.
These are the clans of the Levites according to their generations. Amram took as his wife Jochebed his father's sister, and she bore him Aaron and Moses, the years of the life of Amram being 137 years.
The sons of Izhar: Korah, Nepheg, and Zichri.
The sons of Uzziel: Mishael, Elzaphan, and Sithri. Aaron took as his wife Elisheba, the daughter of Amminadab and the sister of Nahshon, and she bore him Nadab, Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.
The sons of Korah: Assir, Elkanah, and Abiasaph; these are the clans of the Korahites. Eleazar, Aaron's son, took as his wife one of the daughters of Putiel, and she bore him Phinehas.
These are the heads of the fathers' houses of the Levites by their clans.

Jewishness comes through the mother while tribal affiliation comes through the father...
