I would point out that in Hebrews 13:7 the word of God was SPOKEN to Christians and this would seem to exclude the interpretation that the word of God is Jesus.

Heb 13:7, Remember them which have the rule over you, who have spoken unto you the word of God: whose faith follow, considering the end of their conversation.

The Word of God is Jesus (John 1:1,14).

The word of God is the Holy Bible.

Consider.

Jesus validated Peter's writings here.

Jhn 16:13, Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

Peter validated Paul's writings here.

2Pe 3:15, And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you;
2Pe 3:16, As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.

And Paul validated the rest of holy scripture here.

2Ti 3:15, And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
2Ti 3:16, All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
2Ti 3:17, That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

Mat 4:4, But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

Heb 10:7, Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God.

Jhn 5:39, Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.
Jhn 5:40, And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life.

The bold is correct. The Bible is NOT the word of God. The Bible CONTAINS the word of God but the spirit of whatever is claimed in it must be tested against God's Holy Spirit of agape love as revealed and unambiguously demonstrated by the ACTUAL Word of God Jesus Christ!!! If you do not test the verses and accept everything, you will be misled by the many false teachers that existed at the time and throughout our checkered human history.

Depends.

At times the Word of God is used as a title and it refers to the Son, Jesus.

"So the Word became flesh and resided among us, and we had a view of his glory, a glory such as belongs to an only-begotten son from a father; and he was full of divine favor and truth."-John 1:14

Other times it refers to the inspired message or messages.

" Indeed, that is why we also thank God unceasingly, because when you received God’s word, which you heard from us, you accepted it not as the word of men but, just as it truthfully is, as the word of God, which is also at work in you believers."-1 Thessalonians 2:13

So as always the context, the surrounding verses, the setting in which we find the verse we are examining, should guide our use and understanding of that Bible verse.

You have ignored the evidence that I have presented, that the Bible IS the word of God (small "w")

Jesus is the Word of God (capital "W").

You are mistaken; for none of the biblical authors were false teachers.

See Revelation 2:2.

Ephesus is the designation for the early church; and the scripture in question tells us that the early church was adept at finding out who were false teachers and weeding them out from having influence in the church.

The bible is indeed the anointed Word of God and would be honored by the Spirit of God for faith, where it could be a sin or even blaspheme to reject God's Word .......... Still there are some scriptures like in Matthew 5:17-48 that Jesus proclaim to change the understanding for believers of Christ as some laws of Moses were in error or need clarity

No use trying with him, he speaks in circles, he's self defeating with his bizarre generalities.

Good thread by the way, it's just that few will accept it

Jesus as the Word of God was given that title as he was God's chief spokesman. The English language has many words that have multiple meanings
