Jesus turned water into fine, aged wine - this was considered His first miracle.
Since the wedding lasted a few days, there was plenty of "Good" wine for all.

Too bad so many religious, churchy so-called "Christians" want to knock and belittle Jesus' miracle, and the product of his miracle. What's the point in associating with him if you don't appreciate what he's done and created? They can take a hike, and quit the games and charade. Maybe pouring a glass would open their eyes (if they could handle it with all their hang-ups and phobias, LOL). Nah, the self-imposed guilt would kill 'em.

Jesus made the best wine at the wedding in Cana … John 2;1-11 Then the blood of Jesus is considered wine By God, as all grace come by faith through the blood of Jesus

Because there is a deceptive quallity to alcohol, according to Proverbs 20:1.
You can drink wine in moderation and not overindulge. But yeah, some people do.

There is no one glass, it becomes two then three. Do not be deceived, leave it alone!

Those who say, I only have a glass a day, yeah, right!
I have maybe three glasses a week. Believe it or not, it can be done, lol.

The allegations of sinning here are clearly and blatantly a product of the church and organized religion. It and its minions continue to hold this torch (of drinking wine is a sin) high. It's no different than other obvious ideas they've created. A bunch of pathetic control freaks...
Indeed. Wine with meals is a custom for many countries.

History tells us that wine could be fermented or unfermented, sweeter tasting wine was highly desired, fermented wine destroys the sweetness since it decomposes into alcohol or vinegar depending on temperature. Good wine was sweet wine that had not soured from the typical heat of that geographic area.

Have you considered one persons alleged moderation influences anothers overindulgence of such a risky substance? Alcohol is the most widely used drug in the world. It kills everyday. How would God be so willing to hand over a deadly and addictive substance to His followers and the rest of mankind if it possesses this lethal property?
Alcohol always has been a deadly drug, consider moderation of methamphetamine or cocain, sure, some people can handle a few lines of coke and the crystal meth time to time, but how many cannot?

The answer is more people fall prey to meth, coke, and alcohol than those who don't, so the math doesn't add up so to speak as being the least bit logical to grant a very small percentage of strong people who claim to hold their liquor while the other 99% suffer greatly at it. Influences happen all the time and the word of God demands people not put any stumbling block in front of another Romans 14:21.

Good point. The many countries healthier than America, without all the hang-ups and neuroses.

If you have an issue with drinking, by all means refrain. I have no issue drinking a glass of wine occasionally. I don't go out drinking so I don't present a stumbling block.
