In some of the first chapters of the Bible, it talks about the Nephilim (even before the Annunaki; I know the Nephilim are mentioned in the Bible, not sure if the Annunaki are.) I wonder what, or who, these could be.
Genesis 6:4
The Nephilim are mentioned just before the Flood account in Genesis 6:4, which states:
1. Could they be aliens? I believe Aliens are Demons, but I could make another thread about that.
2. Were they the Giants? Because the Bible clearly says, - Oh my, it is the same verse.
Now, God did create all things, so.. These must have come from the angels, as we were made in their image?
We believe that angels took on human form and took wifes for themselves, the nephilim are their offspring which were superior to normal humans.
This is all very fascinating and I wish we could go back in time and see just exactly what our primitive ancestors were trying to communicate about what existed back then. However, I fail to see that it helps us to understand God or Jesus or our current purpose even if we did know what it was really all about.
Michael is on the money! How it relates to us and why it was recorded was to show us the many ways Satan is trying to prove the scripture wrong. If he can do that God is a liar and Satan has won!
Satan was trying to contaminate the Hebrew bloodline to make it impossible for Christ to be born in this world! Just as he tried to exterminate the Jews from this world in WW2 in the 1940's to make it impossible for the scripture to be true in God bringing His people back and making them a nation again in 1948.
Satan knows the scripture better than any of us, he was there when it all was written. He knows the scripture holds all the truths of God to man, the reason his main effort of the battle is against the scripture.
If he can prove just one prophesy to be incorrect in the scripture, he has won! But hasn't been able to do that and he never will! Greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world!
This battle is not ours, it's His, we are to trust Him in all things, believe His Word and spread His salvation to the world! He is well capable of taking care of the rest!

but I've read a guy who speculates that the angels who were thrown out of heaven were cast down to earth. They could actually assume physical bodies. Many of them did, and interbred with women, creating the Nephilim. At some point, the fallen angels were banished from earth, and are now exiled to what we call "outer space".
The main purpose of the Great Flood was to destroy the Nephilim. The human seed had to remain pure for the future Incarnation. When the bodies of the Nephilim were killed in the Deluge, their spirits remained to wander the earth, which are what we call "demons" today. They will be judged and cast into hell at the end of time.
Prior to Christ's second coming, the fallen angels will be allowed to return to earth one last time as an act of judgment upon humanity. From our perspective, this would essentially look like an alien invasion.

The scripture says they are bound in chains in the Abyss, awaiting judgement! Or so says Peter, not everyone believes the scripture you know!

They were Pharos in my opinion, sons of God just as Caesars able to take any woman or do anything, a walking God.
I believe this because my best friend was a translator for the nation of Israel, a teacher of Hebrew. I don't speak Hebrew but he taught it and the nation of Israel saw him as one of their translators. I have to trust somebody that speaks Hebrew, so does everyone.
I think it is called a Black Hole, Charlie. Oh, and it exists in the center of the "lake of fire" called a galaxy!
