Here's another bit that might interest you-
Jesus asked his disciples- “Who do you say I am?”
Simon Peter answered, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.”
Jesus replied, “Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by flesh and blood, but by my Father in heaven" (Matt 16:13-17)

See, if Simon had been wrong Jesus would have said "Wrong answer, try again".

PS- this is meant purely as a fun discussion thread, I'm not out to stir up controversy, and anyway I don't think Jesus would mind if people think he is or isn't God..
And he throws out another one...Black and white...Can’t get any clearer than that...

I fixed it because somebody else reported it. Reporting is a good way to alert a moderator. You only have ~90 minutes to edit a post, so it's a good idea to look one over. I'm not sure if you can change a thread title after a thread is started.

Jesus regularly prayed to God, yet if he was God why would he pray to himself?

He spelt out who he was to the High Priest-

Just to add a few more.

Or it is just having a different understanding of what the scriptures are saying.

If you guys hold to the opinion the God is also Jesus i would like to know where you get that idea from.

What did Jesus say Spike?: (Matthew 16:13-17) . . .Jesus asked his disciples: “Who are men saying the Son of man is?” 14 They said: “Some say John the Baptist, others E·liʹjah, and still others Jeremiah or one of the prophets.” 15 He said to them: “You, though, who do you say I am?” 16 Simon Peter answered: “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” 17 In response Jesus said to him: “Happy you are, Simon son of Joʹnah, because flesh and blood did not reveal it to you, but my Father in the heavens did.

You are quite correct sir, Jesus is the son of God Himself.

Jesus was born of an incarnation of God, as Jesus was born without any natural seed of man through a miracle of His spirit ...... Without this, Jesus would not qualify of God a savour for man ..... So then Jesus the man who was God developed a ministry to usher in the new covenant through God Spirit, where a man with the devil killed Jesus, and God raised Him up from the dead and made Him Great like God and Jesus took His place who is one with God ........... So people who reject Jesus will continue to have eternal damnation by their sin, and people who reject the devil and his sin and then lean on Jesus and surrender will have salvation and other gifts of the spirit ........ People accused Jesus of saying He was God, and Jesus never did deny that He was not God

Jesus is a manifestation of God.

Why did Jesus pray to God? To set an example of prayer and meditation/expectant waiting.

I do not believe in the catholic hypostatic union or what is known as the Trinity.
Apparently, you missed the green smiley with the big grin in the form of sarcasm.
