Since God created everything, you have not answered my question at all.

What is the Kingdom of God? If you would rather Scripture answer that question, which Scripture would you point me to?

The Bible says that does it not?

I'm thinking of Peter's sermon in Acts 2. He explains that Christ sits on David's throne. The people ask what they must do, and Peter says repent and be baptized. So repentance and baptism gains admission into Christ's Kingdom.

Why should anyone worry about that? You trying to save yourself?

LOL. Yeah, there is a lot superfluous needling that goes on here. Preaching to others, and meddling into other's personal matters between them and God. Almost like some parenting syndrome or elder complex. It's like "Buddy, mind your own business, and clean up your own backyard. You've got enough to deal with, instead of hassling me with goofy inquisitions".

Discussing ideas, opinions, and theories is one thing, but patronizing and breathing over others under some sense of feeble authority is ludicrous. I'm sure their church taught them all their neuroses and obsessions.

If I'm drowning and somebody throws me a raft, I do indeed want to grab ahold of it. When I grab the raft, have I saved myself, or did I merely cooperate with the one who threw me the raft?

I see it more as you're knocked unconscious and going under and Jesus saves you.

Learn to swim then EMike.

And then the conversation turned into the fact that many feel "hurt" because they're told sin is displeasing to God.

Where is your compassion, BF? Is that how you treat a hurting world? If a hungry, homeless person wandered into your church one Sunday, would you grab him by the collar, drag him to the altar and lecture him about.what a dirtbag sinner he is before feeding him and offering assistance? That's how you come across when you post things like that.
What kind of a loaded, nonsense question is that? Better question: If I walked into your church on a Sunday morning, would I be welcomed?

For you, the focus is on sin first, always and ever, not kindness, not compassion. Yes, we very strongly disagree in our priorities in that regard. I see that as a surefire way to drive people from the church.
That's because it is the main problem our race faces. Sin separates us from God. If a church can't talk about God saving us from it, then what is the purpose?

I do not recall that when Jesus first called his apostles that he sat them down and made sure they knew they were nothing but sinners. He befriended them, spent time with them, loved them. Then they came to understand who he was and who they were, not by lecture, but by love.
Have you read the Bible? Honestly. Have you read the Gospels? Did you read of him talking to the woman at the well? Or others?

I hear the woman at the well singing the song Jesus wrote for her here:
