I don't know if I would call that the "best park in the country".

I was saying based on all the things being built there. If you think about all the other things along with these, it is pretty hard to beat.

That is very subjective. If you're looking for a green space that functions as a museum campus with monuments - perhaps. If you're looking for a park to go play soccer in, or take hikes or go on a bike ride or run then perhaps not.

I probably should have been more clear. I was talking about these other projects that are already being built in addition to the news today.

Ben

Huh? People play soccer, kickball, football, softball, and more everyday on the National Mall. They also jog and ride bikes everyday. There are multiple leagues and everything. Have you been to the National Mall before?

This is ongoing in CHICAGO'S Far Southside by the Indiana border. Formerly where US Steel's Work's LARGEST Steel mill use to be on 600-acres far from Downtown. But also along the lakefront. Chicago

New project for Philly tonight, well technically not DT but in S Philly at the corner of Broad and Washington

~ 250K sq feet of retail and two 33 story residential towers with 1,600 units

not thrilled overall by the design but this vacant lot is huge and needs to go, the pocket park is on the roof of the retail

on parks there are different functions but I love being able to get away from the city in them from time to time and have a pocket park on my street complete with a bocci ball court and league but is small and not the same

Apartments are still renting at a blistering pace in D.C. Supply can't keep up with demand despite the building boom. Developers need to speed up the pace of development and build more apartment highrises if they expect to stop rents from rising.

Very important vote tomorrow that will shape all future urban development in suburban Montgomery County outside of D.C. It would drop all lanes in urban areas to 10 feet widths and drop speed limits to 25 mph. It would also add bike lanes and pedestrian improvements. This will go a long way in making these areas feel way more urban and dense.

"Road Code" bill will make Montgomery County's urban streets more ped and bike friendly - Greater Greater Washington
