Washington Union Station Expansion Project

The Union Station project is expected to break ground in the next 2 years. Construction is expected to last 4 years. Here is the latest on this game changing project for D.C. from the meeting two days ago:

Im looking at buildings on SSP, of the top 50 tallest between LA and Seattle, LA has a 30-20 advantage, but its hard to see in the pics.
Many of the taller projects, with the exception of Wilshire Grand and Metropolis which is on the far left, are just a few levels above ground and should be more noticeable by the end of the year. There are 5 towers currently u/c on the far left by staples center that will eventually all be over 30 stories.

I guess Philly has issues with NIMBYS like most places, but right downtown though? Come on people! That is crazy that the community wants to shrink this development when it's in an area where density should be priority. SMH.....always somebody complaining.

Technically it's not downtown. But the immediate area needs this project. It can only enhance it.
