What is crazy is that a couple of these are languishing projects that have been "on" and "off" at various times in the last few decades. I think it is safe to say DTLA is booming.
Yeah your site is so much better than Curbed. I love that half the time they pull content off of Urbanize for their site. Pretty cool that you guys are so ahead of the curve.
For those unfamiliar with this site, this was where a 1000+ tower was proposed to go a few years ago. These new proposals are all significantly shorter than 1000ft, but most would still become the tallest building downtown if built.

They pretty much can't go over 1000 ft because of Logan Airport, right?

West Hollywood as well. Sunset La Cienega in particular is ginormous. Will definitely change the flavor of the Sunset Strip.
I'd love to do a count of all the housing units/uc in Central LA. I have no idea where to look, but it has to be north of 13,000 units by now. That's almost double San Francisco's total, and more than DC proper, two of the more booming cities in the country. LA isn't doing anywhere near as well at the moment, which makes me wonder how construction will look if/when LA's economy takes off again.
