Yes, you clearly have retained Jack Squat but you have lost the debate.

DC has a few iconic structures but SF is way more iconic as a city. Period.

Now run along.

I never even said DC was more iconic? I said it had more iconic buildings and not a more iconic culture. Please read...... So in actuality I didn't lose any "debate".

Your reading comprehension is.... now run along

I'm from DC so I'm biased.

I would say they're equally iconic.

SF: Golden Gate Bridge, TransAmerica tower, unique architecture, Coit Tower.
DC: Smithsonian, the Mall, Washington Monument, memorials, Capitol building.

I'd say they're pretty even culturally/iconic..I don't know that either really has a distinctive cultural identity that's really known outside of their respective regions/areas. They both have pretty iconic structures that I believe most (at least within the US) would be able to identify..The Golden Gate Bridge/That pyramid building in San Fran, The White House/Washington Monument in DC. I'd say they're even. (as the poll suggests)

The fact that you have to call it "that pyramid building" shows it isn't that iconic
