I love Oakwood and spent a weekend there once. I actually like the whole SW Ohio region very much.

This is a close one. I would not mind living in either of these two suburbs of Orlando and Charlotte. I'd much rather have the climate of NC/SC over central FL and I'd imagine Charlotte's economy with its focus on banking would offer higher paying jobs than Orlando's. However I think Winter Park would win this one strictly on a town vs town comparison. More walkability and more local bars/restaurants/coffee shops to patronize put WP over the top in this comparison.

Evanston provides a little more room to spread out. Even though the winters are a bit more harsh, I'd rather be in Chicagoland than NY/NJ.

Avalon, California or Nantucket, Massachusetts?

Avalon, California or Nantucket, Massachusetts?
Avalon, strictly for the climate.

Roanoke, VA or Chico, CA?

Chico... prefer the slightly warmer climate and the regional offerings (half days drive from the Bay Area, Lake Tahoe, Reno).

Allentown, PA or Worcester, MA?

Allentown. Great area. Affordable and not far from NYC and Philly. I also prefer PA to MA.

Sioux Falls, SD or Davenport, IA?

Sioux Falls. Seems to be better as far as economy and growth. Farmington NM or Grand Junction CO?

Even though the scenery immediately surrounding Grand Junction is better, I love NM and have a strong bias in favor of it, so Farmington it is.

Mississippi's Golden Triangle Region or Stillwater, Oklahoma?
