Eufala OK. Like the area better. Auburn AL or Augusta ME?
Auburn... Augusta seems kinda bleh to me. Auburn has better weather, seems more vibrant with the university at its core, and isn't as seething red politically as the rest of the deep south.

Raton, NM or Silver City, NM?
Silver City, much closer to larger towns. Oakland or Long Beach CA?
Boston. I lived in the Boston/Cape Cod area 2017-2019. Compared to NYC, in general, Boston's buying power index score is 50 points better, residents are nicer, and I feel I've got a little more elbow room.

Salt Lake City or Charlotte?
Charlotte. Never really been a fan of out west, too remote.
Absolutely Sac. I didn't like how isolated Reno felt, being walled off by mountains a few miles away in any direction. The cost of living these days is also way out of proportion to what you get. I would only recommend Reno to someone who wants to be close to California, doesn't care about big-city amenities (I couldn't even find any European ethnic food other than Italian and Basque), and is on a tight budget.

Oak Harbor, WA or Port Townsend, WA?
Port Townsend is a smaller town, which I prefer. But they both seem similar.
