Both great towns. I will go with Bowling Green due to having a better downtown and more attractions close by.
Dayton, OH or Greensboro, NC?
If I'm only limited to city proper areas(and not their suburbs), Greensboro. Though if I could live anywhere in its metro area(including suburbs and towns outside of it), would go with Dayton.
Swedish settled towns in the Midwest: Lindstrom, MN, or Lindsborg, KS?
Lindsborg, Kansas as the winters aren't as extreme.
Faribault, Minnesota or Camp Hill, Pennsylvania?
Camp Hill... I'd rather live in a small suburb that's close to Downtown Harrisburg than in a larger town 50 miles from Minneapolis. Just prefer that region of PA to MN.

Springfield, MO or Augusta, GA?
Springfield is somewhat of a college town, which is a good economic base.

Port Arthur, Texas or Arvin, California?
This is a choice between two cities with terrible air quality. I'd probably go with Arvin under the assumption their PM2.5 is probably less harmful than whatever they're putting in the air in Port Arthur.
Tampa easily. Florida is my home state, and nothing about Portland really appeals to me at all.
Port Orange, Florida or Citrus Heights, California?
Citrus Heights, since I suspect there'd be more to do in the Sacramento area vs. the Daytona Beach area. I will say for Port Orange, that Dunlawton Sugar Mill Gardens looks nice per looking it up.
Comparing 2 smaller college towns, that aren't too many miles away from an Amtrak station(La Plata, Southwest Chief, or Mattoon for Illini/Saluki/City of New Orleans): Kirksville, MO, or Charleston, IL?

Probably Kirkville. Would rather live in MO. Cool CA or Cut and Shoot TX?
