College Station for sure. More prosperous area and state.

Murfreesboro, TN or Franklin, TN?

Murfreesboro has a lot of crime, at least down by MTSU, which turns me off. I thus got to go Franklin.

Whoops, forgot to add another one:

Gatlinburg, TN v. Big Bear, CA

Gatlinburg. I love the Blue Ridge. Near Knoxville (love that area). Much more affordable than CA.

Harrisburg, PA or Rochester, NY?

Santa Fe, better climate, more amenities, less homogeneous, and less pretentious in certain ways.

Tacoma, WA or Long Beach, CA

Long Beach... I prefer the LA metro to Seattle's for the better weather, amenities, diversity and better beaches.

Orlando, FL or Houston, TX?

Houston. Texas' answer to Los Angeles is one of the friendliest and most diverse places I've ever visited. Even though (like in LA) they drive on the freeways as though they're NASCAR tracks, I can't wait to return.

New Hope, Pa., or Ogunquit, Me.
