Compared to the rest of the country, California is quite "liberal" and "democratic".
How liberal are we?

USA - 47.7% voted for Hillary
California - 61.5% voted for Hillary

Alameda County - (Oakland) - 79% Hillary
Santa Clara County - (San Jose) - 73.2% Hillary
LA County - (Long Beach) - 71.5% Hillary

Sacramento County - (Sactown) - 58.3% Hillary

Sacramento County is more liberal than the USA, and as liberal as the rest of California, but not nearly as liberal as the other 4 city-counties of the thread.

Sacramento County is more in line with the nation and with the state as a whole compared to the other 4 counties.

Note that these are county percentages, the actual city percentages will show all 4 cities are even more liberal than their county numbers.

Who is the most Libertarian? Who values the integrity of the Constitution the most? Who feels gov't should be limited?

Ironically, Sacramento, a "government town", believes the gov't should be checked, taxes should be checked more than the other 4 of this thread.

Sacramento voted down a sales tax increase while Los Angeles(Long Beach) voted one in. And I'll bet Oakland voted to increase taxes as well.

Libertarian votes for President:

Sacramento County - 4.0%

Santa Clara County - San Jose - 3.4%

Los Angeles County - Long Beach - 2.5%

Alameda County - Oakland - 2.5%

California - 3.2%

Who are the closeted Trump supporters? Where do they live?

Sacramento County - 35.8%

Los Angeles County (Long Beach) - 23.4%

Santa Clara County (San Jose) - 21.5%

Alameda County (Oakland) - 15.6%

California - 33.2%
USA - 47.5%

Again, Sacramento is more in line with California as a whole, and more in line with the Nation but still more liberal than the Nation.

Sacramento is much more intune with the nation than LBC or San Jose. Oakland is filled with delusional people and criminals. Oakland is the worst of the 3, IMO.

It's only selling point is it is a suburb of SF

I really don't understand this claim that Sac is more like the rest of the US than it is like CA. It's definitely more "Californian" than "American."

I never said it was. I said it is more intune with middle America than the other cities on the list. If you replaced Sac with San Diego, I would say the same thing. It doesn't make it any less Californian. You obviously have never lived there.

It's more like middle America than any other city on the list. But it's more like the cities on the list than it is like middle America.

I'm not exactly sure what you are trying to accomplish by repeating yourself. No one is disputing this.

From the way I was understanding this, people were trying to say Sac is more like middle America, rather than more like California. My bad.
