Um...you can have pre-WWII exquisite single-family streets and an urban gem of a neighborhood. They are not mutually exclusive.

And Atlanta does it brilliantly and perfectly.

In Atlanta--which is a youngish big Sunbelt city--it's both.

No, not really. Urban & Density go hand in hand... single family homes and low density go hand in hand.
