Yes but all of Savannah had a streetcar all over the city and yes the Garden district of Nola is a good example

You made my point.CITY DATA is not the real world. When you have posters insisting P.F. Changs passes for authentic Asian cuisine in Atlanta, then you arent getting an honest frank discussion

I wasnt referring to you.I was just bolstering my statement about biased posters who cant bring themselves to be fair and impartial based on the poster who made that statement.
When u say people are suggesting Atlanta is "an urban oasis" thats not what being said. You saying (or implying)its not urban is certainly not correct even if there are some suggesting it is an urban oasis.

It is urban.... it's as urban as Arlington VA is. Arlington also has skyscrapers, single family homes, parking lots, garages and strip malls. It also has areas more reminiscent of the peachtree st area.

To be honest, I'm okay with GA just staying purple. There are some good things that can be exploited with GA's laws that can be beneficial. VA is a great state too, so I'm torn between the two.

Arlington is also 26sqmi and Midtown is 3.8sqmi. Arlington has pockets of 3.8sqmi that would have higher density then Midtown especially along the Ballston/Rosslyn corridor. The county also includes the Arlington national cemetery, the pentagon and Reagon airport. Lol, good try though.

No need to do the density game as you said earlier density doesnt really matter to overall urbanity in your opinion. Plus, Atlanta is one of the least dense major cities as it is.
