Chillicothe because it's also in the Rust Belt, and the populations and demographics are very similar.

Racine, WI, since Frank Lloyd Wright constructed a company headquarters building in both smaller cities. In Bartlesville it was for the H.C. Price Company(a chemical and oil pipeline company), and in Racine it was for S.C. Johnson(a consumer goods company).

One of 2 bigger cities near Lake Champlain, and it even has a mall(Champlain Centre) that in pre-COVID times, would often attract Canadian shoppers looking for slightly cheaper prices. Anyway: Plattsburgh, NY

Marquette, MI because it's also very far north and on a lake. Both are pretty nice, with colleges in town.

Rocky Mount, NC

Quick streetview makes me think of Macon, GA. Historic downtowns, not touristy or booming but not declining either.

Cheyenne, WY

Minot, ND isn't much smaller, and it has a significant Air Force presence.

Des Moines, IA

Omaha, NE. They are basically twins. Both places are attracting young people due to their white collar industries, low cost of living, and friendly nature.

Prattville, AL
