Hanover, NH, with Lebanon by extension providing a more comparable size. Both home to the two Ivies that are pretty far removed from the I-95 Ivy Universities.

Bridgeport, CT

Lawrence, MA? They're both smaller New England industrial cities outside of a bigger city, served by either Amtrak or commuter rail. But have been declining cities for a while, from what I hear. And at least whenever I talk to others familiar with the northeast, neither city seems to have a good reputation nowadays.

Pittsfield, MA

Torrington. They're both disconnected from the other urban areas in their states. Port St. Lucie FL?

Lake Havasu City, AZ I guess. Suburban retirement city in a warm fast-growing state that's known for that, endless tract housing, not really part of a metro area.

Oak Park, IL

I guess Evanston because it's a Chicago suburb that borders the city. However, a more interesting response may be Weehawken, New Jersey. Both are walkable suburbs close to the city that are also desirable.

Edmond, OK

Towson, MD. Both of them are fairly well-off suburbs located to the immediate north of their main city, and both of them have sizable public universities located within them.

Valdosta, GA.

Probably Dothan, AL. About similar in size and geography/climate being close to the Florida border.

Akron, OH

Beckley, WV is another Appalachian town. Crime is high, it's very cheap, and they've both lost a lot of their peak population (although a lot more in Johnstown).

Folsom, CA
