Not everyone can afford to live the life they would dream of in NYC. I wouldn't be happy living there, going out and spending lots of money, and then going home to a studio apartment or an Archie Bunker type house (as many people do). I would prefer another urban area where I could spend money AND have a great place to live. Of course, that's just my opinion.
