So excited to visit Sat. The 25th. I plan to see 6 homes some resales, some new builds, also would like to get a good grip inn the particular neighborhoods, see the clubhouses, and beach house, and Southport. Any other ideas for two days. Visited Wilmington in September.
A lot of folks we talk to think the chef at the Players is the best. Frankly, we have had excellent meals at all of the restaurants, but would probably lean toward Players or Reserve for dinner.
Are some of the sections in SJP more active socially than others?
That is kind of hard to define. I know some some streets/neighborhoods have some type of social gathering on a monthly basis. Others maybe 2 or 3 times a year. I'm sure there are other variations. I know one street was known as the 'party neighborhood' but continued growth makes it harder for larger numbers of people to meet. Then of course there are various clubs, friends, and other social groups that meet regularly and then there are less formal groups that get together from time to time not to mention golf and tennis associations and so on.
Overall SJP is very social, at times to the point I have heard some people call it one big 'frat party'.
Bottom line there are plenty of opportunities to socialize on many levels and as much as you want to.
